Kneebone Inc. is a cross-marketing performance technology company, operating from offices in the heart of Toronto’s entertainment district. The company provides a Software-as-a-Service to any Company that runs marketing activities and wants to identify the key drivers and dependencies for performance.
Kneebone’s proprietary software measures the connection between a client’s marketing activities (advertising, sponsorship, social media, direct mail, corporate communications, public relations, etc) and the performance results of customer activities, transactions, and/or other key performance indicators.
Kneebone Inc. was created when the ideas of two complimentary thinkers were united: founders Wendy Robertson (Marketing Strategy) and John Wylie, PhD (Secure Email/Scheduling Software). Together they identified a gap between cross-marketing spend dollars and the impetus for customer activities, so they formed a technology based marketing performance methodology to bridge this gap. With partner Adrian Borys (Product Marketer), they built a company dedicated to enabling marketing performance by developing the industry’s first SaaS-based Marketing Performance Technology (2009). The US patent was granted in 2011.
The Kneebone name refers to the agile and flexible connection between marketing’s many moving parts and its various customer channels. Like its namesake, Kneebone takes the weight of the entire marketing structure, and connects marketing investments to “feet-on-the-street” sales to deliver insights into performance. Kneebone’s 3.0 platform and subscriber applications generate democratic and unbiased measurement tools which can create efficiencies by identifying real marketing performance, or sometimes lack thereof.
